CRISPVS NOB CAES Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Crispus to left, seen from behind, holding spear in his right hand and shield with his left. Rev. VIRTV-S AVGG / P - R / R P Campgate with open doors and four turrets. RIC 191 var. (unlisted officina). Apparently unique. Minor smoothing, otherwise, very fine.

Only one example of Crispus with this reverse was listed in RIC, a coin from officina S in the KHM, Vienna. Now four more examples are known, three from officina S and this unique piece from officina P.
